Day 1: Early morning departure from a convenient location or your doorstep. Stop for breakfast at Nagothane, the gateway to the Alphonso Belt. Proceed to Parshuram Temple, Parashurama a Brahmin, the sixth avatar of Vishnu, belongs to the Treta yug, and is the son of Jamadagani and Renuka. Parashu means axe, hence his name literally means Rama-with- the- axe. He received an axe after undertaking a terrible penance to pleaseShiva, from whom he learned the methods of warfare and other skills. He fought the advancing ocean back thus saving the lands of Konkan and Malabar. The coastal area of Kerala state along with the Konkan region, i.e., coastal Maharashtra and Karnataka, is also sometimes called Parashurama Kshetra (Parashurama’s country). Parashurama is said to be a "warrior Brahman", the first warrior saint. His mother is descended from the Kshatriya Suryavansham clan that ruled Ayodhya and Lord Rama also belonged to. Check-in and rest . Evening visit Hedvi Temple, at approximately 27 km along Guhagar-Narvan road, towards south of Guhagar. This small village is yet another popular location around Guhagar that boasts of 2 places worth seeing. Most famous is theTemple of Dashabhuja (10 Hands) Ganapati. This temple dates back to age of Peshwas. The idol of  Lord Ganesha is carved in marble and is supposed to be from Jammu-Kashmir. The temple is recently renovated and is very clean. and Velneshwar Temple,  has a beautiful beach and an Ancient Shankar Temple. The Temple complex has three four different temples and the secluded beach behind the temple is very beautiful and clean.Velneshwar Temple, Situated Near The Seashore A Very Quite And Nice Place For Relaxation Of The Tourists. It Is At 25 Km From Guhagar And 6 Kms From Hedavi. The Area Of Velneshwar Temple Is 70 Kms. In Front Of The Temple There Is A Huge Pillar For Lightning Lamps. Also, There Are Temples Of Kal bhairav, Ganapati&, Rameshwari. Check –in at Guhagar. Evening visit Vyadeshwar Temple, There Are Idols Of Shreedevi, Surya Narayan, Vishnu, Ganapati. There Are Temples Of Balkeshwar, Talkeshwar, And Udaleshwar In This Area. They Are The Incarnations Of Vyadeshwar. (BLED)

Day 2: Have Breakfast and proceed to Fort Gopalgad, Kille Gopalgad, a fort in Ratnagiri district was built on the banks of Vashishti creek. It was built for the protection of Dabhol an ancient port city which also finds its mention by the famous geographer from ancient Greece Ptolemy. Gopalgad was first built by Siddisad, a sardar of Bijapur dynasty rulers in 1500’s who were controlling the southern Konkan at that time. There is Persian stone inscription about that in the fort. Then it was later on occupied by King Shivaji, King Sambhaji. In 1699, it was captured by Khairatkhan who was a Siddi ruler who ruled from Murud Janjira. Tulaji Angre then won this fort in 1744 and then later lost it to Peshwas in 1755. During the Peshwa rule, the Village of Anjanvel in which this fort is situated was district headquarters and it was a centre for ship building industry and cloth weaving. In 1818 when Peshwas lost to British, the fort also went to them but not easily and they had to fight a battle for it. Talkeshwar Lighthouse. Evening visit Guhagar Beach, Ufrata Ganapati Temple, When The Face Of Idol Of Ganapati Facing Towards The East Turns Towards West, It Came To Be Known As Ufrata Ganapati. This Temple Is Located Near Guhagar The Idol Is White In Colour & There Are Parshu & Trishul In Its Hands. There Is A Snake Entangled The Idol. Around 300 Years Ago This Idol Was Found By The Fisher Man Or Kolis In The Sea. Vyadeshwar Temple, This Temple Is Situated At Guhaghar Taluka. In This Temple There Are Idols Of Shreedevi, Surya Narayan, Vishnu, Ganapati. There Are Temples Of Balkeshwar, Talkeshwar, And Udaleshwar In This Area. They Are The Incarnations Of Vyadeshwar. Day 3: Awake early morning for a traditional breakfast before leaving to Mumbai. On route visit Chandika Temple, The temple is 15-20 feet under ground in a cave. Electricity is forbidden inside and hence only source of lighting is lamps and candles lit. The idol of Goddess Chandika is swayambhoo (self-borne) and supposed to be from the ages of Pandava. However, it was discovered only 300 years back. Outside the temple is a tomb of the discoverer of this temple. (BLE)
